Hubby's back to smoking....

Well....here we go again. He jumped on the quit wagon again with me a week ago this past Tuesday. He was on the 21 mg patch for 9 days (that's how many patches were left in the box after I had used a few). During the first week, he asked me to buy a 14 day supply of the 14 mg patches, which I did. I told him I bought them and left them on top of the microwave. He couldn't find them while he was on his way out the door to work a few days later (I was sleeping which I never am at that time, usually). So, he went to work. Had a bad day, but claimed he didn't smoke. He put the 14 mg patch on the next day and fessed up (when I saw the ashtray in the garage) that evening that "the 14 mg patch wasn't cuttin' it" so he yanked it off and bought a pack of smokes. This was Thurs or Fri of this past week. Well, it's not like he's jumping back on the quit wagon, we had to stop last night on our way to dinner to buy him cigarettes. Now it's not like he's smoking in the vehicle with me,smoking cessation, but for chrissake...the smokes are RIGHT THERE! Look,stop smoking now, I'm not posting an SOS, but I'm just sayin'....I'm not sure how long I can hold out. I really, really believe that the only way we can BOTH be successful is to do it together. For those of you who are still with a smoking spouse/significant other, please feel free to share your knowledge, wisdom and advice.Thanks!
